Description and Requirements

  1. GENERAL FUNCTION

Report to the Assistant Engineer / Engineer / Unit Manager to carry out technical & operational duties of the unit.

  1. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

• To play the role of duty supervisor in the absence of Engineer and Assistant Engineer.

• To lead and supervise a team in providing the routine and corrective maintenance services for the VTS and MRCC

• To lead a working team or work independently in carrying out preventive & corrective maintenance of dedicated electronic systems.

• To implement projects for upgrading and enhancement of existing systems or for new requirements.

• To assist in management of resources, such as store keeping and petty cash custody.

• To assist in updating drawings, manuals, and other relevant records and documents for operation and maintenance.

• To assist in maintaining equipment inventory and stock record.

• To carry out technical support to operations staff and perform operational duties when required.

• To perform such other duties as may be required.

  1. JOB REQUIREMENT / QUALIFICATION

• University Degree in a relevant or Company recognized discipline or equivalent; OR

• Advanced Diploma / Higher Certificate in a relevant or Company recognized discipline or equivalent and at least 3 years of relevant experience in operating and maintenance of job related systems; OR

• Certificate in a relevant or Company recognized discipline or equivalent and at least 4 years of relevant experience in operating and maintenance of job related systems; OR

• Completed Form V level education in Hong Kong and at least 5 years of relevant experience in operating and maintenance of job related systems
