Responsibilities:

  • Approve color independently, including lab dips/ print/ yarn dye/ snap/ gripper and zipperetc, and provide solutions to cross-functional teams on color issue.

  • Attend seasonal line review to determine potential color risk in production.

  • Check color coordination and release comments in PLM within specified timeline to maintain color consistent within a garment!

  • Ensure artwork is the latest version for Strike Off review, and maintain color consistency in Lap dip master card

  • Implement and communicate electronic readings for color evaluation by using Datacolor machine, such as Spectrophotometer and SpectraVision, and generate reports and documents with these devices.

  • Provide guidance to suppliers and mills to ensure they follow SOP and achieve color requirements.

  • Review colors with junior team members for approval. Provide training, coaching, and continued education to develop junior team members.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 - 7 years of experience in color industry. Experience with on-site color approval to resolve urgent issues.

  • Good knowledge on dyeing/printing processing

  • Fluent and presentable in English & Cantonese.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel (advanced)

  • Must pass Munsell Hue 100 Eye test

  • Willing travel alone to mills based on need.

  • Self-motivated, well organized and analytical with strong sense of responsibility

  • Willing to develop and coach junior members.
