To accelerate this transformation, we are looking for Project Managers to manage the delivery of Oracle Consulting’s Professional Services implementations of the Oracle Cloud Applications (SaaS).
HCM Consultant within Consulting: The HCM Consultant role is a challenging, exciting opportunity for you to manage full lifecycle Cloud Implementations while using Oracle’s True Cloud Methodology (TCM). In this role, you will not only help to support presales activities but also oversee the overall solution design for the upcoming project delivery. You will manage multiple HCM cloud projects, be responsible for the successful delivery of those projects on time.
You will work with leaders in Oracle Consulting, Development and Support focused on Oracle’s Cloud products.
As a HCM Functional Consultant, you will be responsible for deliverables at every phase of the software implementation lifecycle such as:
Involving in the HCM solution design, providing support presales activities.
Preparing for, facilitating, and gaining agreement on global design
Documenting the client’s as-is process flows and communicating best practices for the to-be optimal state
Adapting the solution for localizations or business processes specific to a client’s business unit or operating location
Documenting and gaining agreement on the client configuration
Implementing and configuring HCM applications
Developing a test strategy to validate the solution and confirming successful deployment
Identifying risks or issues associated with assigned tasks; taking initiative to proactively alert project leadership of any risks or issues

Collaborate with customers to gather and document customer business requirements
Ability to influence customers to modify current business practices, as required; Ability to manage scope and expectations with the customer
Work with customers to implement and configure HCM solution to support customer business requirements
Establish credibility and rapport with internal and external stakeholders; Ability to work within project teams and collaborate cross-departmentally
Work collaboratively within a project team both on and off customer sites
Analyze and design solutions for business requirements which may include complex configurations and/or technical components
Assist in delivering client facing workshops
Define detailed functional requirements
Work with technical teams to design, develop and test automations and integrations
Perform quality reviews of deliverables developed by other team members
Collaborate and communicate with Project Managers and colleagues to facilitate on time and on budget project delivery
Train and mentor team members
Achieve or exceed billable utilization targets
Continue to increase product knowledge and pursue relevant certifications
Qualifications
BA/BSc degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Management, Computer Science; Degree in HRM or related field a plus
5-7 or more years of software implementation and delivery experience with HCM/HRMS.
HCM application implementation experience with other packaged enterprise application solutions such as PeopleSoft, Workday, IPL is a plus
Demonstrated success as a customer facing consultant; experience in translating customer business requirements into workable software solutions
Experience with defining requirements for complex customizations and integrations
Ability to guide customer based on leading practices
Ability to work well in teams, as well as independently
Good verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Proficiency in English, verbal and written
Critical thinker, problem solver, curious learner
Able to learn new products and technologies on the job quickly
Capable to work independently, take initiative with minimal supervision yet can participate as a team member with a willingness to help where needed
Able to travel as needed in support of assigned projects
5-7 years of experience relevant to this position including 2 years consulting experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.
