Cornerstone onDemand Regional Sales Director in United Kingdom

This position offers an excellent opportunity in a leading edge, global software company that is expanding. As a UKI based Regional Sales Director within our Direct Sales you will be responsible for mentoring and developing our existing Mid Market sales team within a successful region.

This position will report to the VP of Sales and Account management for the UKI. Success in this role will provide additional opportunities for growth such as career progression and significant financial upside. The role –

  • Learn and lead our Cornerstone ‘Workforce Agility’ GTM playbook all supported by a true development culture

  • Grow and manage a team of New Business Executives

  • Maintain a hands on approach, regularly joining prospect meetings alongside your team

  • Run trainings, prep calls, deal reviews and QBRs

  • Driving a culture of excellence and high performance within your team

  • Working alongside a cross functional teams (Solution Consultancy , Customer Success, Business Value Consultants, Marketing, Product) to ensure we are providing and maintaining outstanding solutions for our clients.

  • Provide leadership for the UKI senior leadership team across the region

  • Drive market penetration for Cornerstone, ensure client acquisition and overall team productivity

  • Be the voice of Cornerstone on Webinars, Events and Internal communication

  • Efficiently recruit, mentor and retain top performers

  • Drive key account acquisition

  • Ensure that sales team members are able to differentiate and position Cornerstone in the market such that Cornerstone becomes knows as the leading Workforce Agility provider in the UKI

  • Exercise judgment and leverage learning on wins and losses

  • Pipeline disciplines to predict results, both near and longer term

  • Establish reliable forecasts for operations and finance

  • Develop open communications with executive team

In this role you will also need to -

  • You will have 5+ years of Sales Managerial experience in an B2B sales environment, plus multiple years of a high performing contributor experience and someone highly achievement orientated, both in and out of work

  • Strong background in solution software selling experience and sales leadership and account experience, including a track record of success in large complex sales.

  • Must be a leader who listens, coaches, guides, and provides an opportunity for team and individual achievement

  • Natural leader with excellent presentation skills

  • Must be highly self-initiated and visionary

  • You are data-driven and can enable and inspire your team members to manage deals proactively and effectively

  • Motivated by professional development and want to learn from the best in the business

  • Driven to continually raise the bar in terms of personal and team performance

  • You are adaptable, resilient, and empathetic with how you work with others and manage your teams

  • Ability to communicate and teach complex problems and processes simply and effectively

  • You can use data to its maximum potential to identify opportunities and mitigate risks in deals in your team

  • Experience using Salesforce plus other tools such as Gong , Clari and Tableau.
