Job Overview

TE's HR Solutions Partners function in a variety of Human Resources activities including employment and employee relations, recruiting, termination and data analysis/metrics. They implement Human Resources policies at the country, regional or global level partnering with management to drive company-wide programs and initiatives.

We are excited to be introducing the new Regional HR Graduate role to our UK HR TEam.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual with a keen interest in people matters. This role will provide great coaching and development opportunities to strengthen knowledge and skill sets, setting the foundations for someone to develop a long-term career in HR.

This role is located remotely but may require travel to sites from time to time with potential overnight stays.

Job Responsibilities

  • Establish a credible understanding of the business model and Regional HR priorities

  • Provide general HR advice and support as required

  • Support effective management practice in addressing employee relations and people-related issues through low-level ER case management

  • Carry out notetaking to develop understanding of complex ER case management and support the Regional HR Partners during employee relations-related meetings

  • Own the probation review process support, identifying new starters and having regular checkpoints with managers

  • Take ownership of general compliance for the Regional HR team to improve and retain the organization of HR policies and processes

  • Work collaboratively as part of a wider HR team, escalating any identified risk to Regional HR Partners as required

  • Collaborate with Regional HR Partner and Centers of Excellence for HR related project execution

  • Offer proactive assistance to the UK Talent Attraction Specialist for Band 6 UK Recruitment activities

  • Work with the UK Learning & Development Specialist to coordinate activities and deliver training

  • Proactively support cyclical activities and global initiatives

  • Support promotion of wellbeing initiatives and engagement with benefits providers

  • Analyse and report on relevant HR metrics to inform business initiatives

  • Manage external HR-related services including our Occupational Health provider’s platform

  • Carry out any other reasonable tasks as directed by the business from time to time.

What your background should look like:

  • Experience working in HR related administration including functions closely connected to HR

  • Good standard of English and Maths

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

  • Some basic understanding of UK Employment Law is desirable

  • Strong organisational skills

  • Goodcommunication and interpersonal skills with the ability work collaboratively and build relationships virtually

  • Proactive approach to work, using initiative to balance day to day demands

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
