We know that it’s never been more crucial that we move fast and act now, and our corporate responsibility team is at the heart of this, supporting IHG’s three operating regions – The Americas, Europe, Middle East, Asia & Africa (EMEAA) and Greater China. We also hold responsibility for leading all ESG reporting activities and communicating progress to a variety of highly engaged stakeholders.

The Role

In this role you will support global community programmes, NGO/charity partnerships and community initiatives for EMEAA, partnering with key regional stakeholders to deliver community impact and position IHG as a company that cares.

Global Community Strategy and Data Collection: Assist in content writing, program design, data insights, and reporting for global strategy and data, supporting the Head of Global Communities and Global Community Manager.

EMEAA Communities Activation: Develop regional strategies based on global metrics, support HR and Academy engagement, lead regional food campaigns, identify WASH initiatives, analyse Community Tracker data, manage monthly winners, execute Giving for Good, and improve impact measurement through local partnerships.

Head Office Engagement: Manage partnerships like Windsor Foodshare and UK Harvest, develop a year-round volunteering timetable, and foster a culture of volunteering and community support at the IHG Head Office.

What we need from you

  • Experience in planning charitable activities and community investments, along with hands-on experience in tracking the resources used, the results achieved, and the overall impact of community programmes.

  • Proven communicator with the with the ability to effectively engage with array of internal and external stakeholders and proven ability to manage relationships and influence key stakeholders within a highly matrixed organisation.

  • Project management skills to ensure effective and efficient delivery of programs.

  • Experience of managing fundraising and charity partnerships.

  • Strong analytical capabilities, and ability to surface insights and craft compelling communications.
