Position Summary

A Business Account Executive position across our portfolio of products and brands. Supporting our biggest retail account and self-management of convenience retail, to achieve mutually profitable revenue growth for Energizer and the customer.

Responsibilities

Universal Accountabilities

  • Working with senior stakeholders to execute plans to deliver Net Sales and GM targets.

  • Full P&L management, on convenience account with direct buyer contact.

  • Executing customer plans to deliver Net Sales and GM targets.

  • Managing all customer administration, planning, evaluation, and analysis relevant to the accounts.

Specific Accountabilities

  • Provide customer support such as customer product set-up process, pricing set-up, the supply of digital copy for associated online and PoS artwork.

  • Deliver promotional planning, execution, and evaluation.

  • Responsibility for investment invoicing and financial analysis.

  • Support and develop customer proposals including the production of presentations and commercials.

  • Develop expertise in customer reporting systems to enable the retrieval and interpretation of data.

  • Liaise cross-functionally with internal stakeholders such as Marketing, Category Development and Demand Planning to ensure execution of associated tasks.

  • Build and modify accurate forecasts to achieve budgeted sales and profit targets and protect availability service level scores.

  • Build relationships with applicable customer account contacts to ensure efficient day to day running of the account.

  • Work with the Field Marketing Team to ensure execution and compliance are in line with agreements and merchandising principles and undertake field visits to stores as required.

  • May also perform additional duties as assigned.

What we are looking for

Required Skills and Experience

  • 1 year experience in a commercial or sales role with an understanding of building and maintaining strong customer relationships.

  • Understanding of P&L and the impact on volume, revenue and profit.

  • Proficient knowledge and use of MS Office required (Excel & Powerpoint).

  • Proactive individual who can multi-task with exceptional planning and priority setting skills.

  • Dynamic, self-motivated and proactive.

  • UK Full Driving License.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Working knowledge of UK Retailers.

  • Experience of working with Retailer systems/Supplier Portals.
