Our Finland locations include Vantaa and Joensuu, employing over 800 professionals in R&D, production, supply chain, quality, marketing, sales, and administrative support. How will you make an impact?

Are you ready to advance your technical support career? We are seeking a Technical Support Specialist to join our Technical Support Lab Automation team in Vantaa. We prioritize collaboration, innovation, and excellence, and we are searching for a dedicated individual who is enthusiastic about delivering detailed technical support.

What will you do?

  • Second/third level technical and product support for distributors, Thermo Fisher direct channels and OEM partners mainly via email, phone and onsite support visits as needed.

  • Assess customer complaints and enter them with needed information to the customer complaint system.

  • Participate in the complaint and Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA) meetings.

  • Share feedback about possible product improvement needs and participate in R&D NPI projects as service representative.

  • Maintain, develop, and deliver the service trainings and certification for the field service organizations.

  • Service manuals, technical bulletins and service News to Use (NTU:s).

  • Collect and maintain service metrics and actions related to deviations.

How will you get here? (education, experience, skills & abilities)

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Associates degree in a related field required, or equivalent combination of education, training, and expanded experience.

  • Shown experience in technical support or similar role

  • Consistent track record to analyze complex technical issues and provide innovative solutions

  • Excellent social skills, both verbal and written

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks efficiently

  • Outstanding problem-solving skills and capability to work well under pressure
