Confluent Senior Sales Operations Analyst in Spain

About the Role:

As a Senior Sales Operations Analyst, you’ll play a pivotal role in Confluent’s Customer Growth go-to-market strategy. Responsible for supporting the Sales Development and Cloud Acquisition team, you will partner with the team who is at the heart of our new logo sales growth engine. Your role will be focused on operationalizing Confluent’s GTM strategy and aiding sales leaders in strategically running their business, providing insights, and tackling complex problems. You will be sitting in the Growth Operations team and supporting the Sales Development and Cloud Acquisition Team. The Cloud Acquisition team is a new business sales function focused on landing new Cloud Customers and growing consumption within their accounts.

What You Will Do:

  • Partner with Sales Leaders to operate their business on a daily basis

  • Run Forecast and Pipeline calls in partnership with Sales Leaders

  • Prepare quota files, assign quotas to new hires, and partner with the Sales Commissions team

  • Maintain Coverage Alignment & ensure SFDC is up to date. Own changes on an ongoing basis.

  • Report and provide insight on trends, attainment to target, productivity and other KPIs

  • Annual planning - Sales coverage, territory carving, and quota setting

  • Work with Sales Systems to make any SFDC enhancement requests that provide additional reporting insights and enable sales reps to be more effective and efficient

  • Partner with Marketing Operations and SDR Leadership on lead management and Inbound Funnel optimization

  • Develop productive and trusting relationships with sales leaders and internal stakeholders.

What You Will Bring:

  • Thrives in a dynamic work environment and can manage competing priorities

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills

  • Prior experience in an analytical and or Operations position required (i.e., Sales Analytics, Data Science, FP&A), tech-industry and/or open-source software/SaaS experience preferred

  • Outstanding communication skills and ability to clearly articulate information tailored to the audience across organizations, including Senior Sales Leaders

  • Results-oriented and comfortable working with leveraging data from multiple sources to make informed decisions

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills

  • Previous experience with Salesforce and Excel, in a power-user capacity, Tableau, and SQL experience

  • A process-driven change agent willing to take on new projects and company initiatives
