Our Edge Platform team takes ownership for planning, building, maintaining and operating our global platform. We design, develop and deploy solutions related to QUIC/http3 protocols and their applications in Proxy Server. This includes the hardware, software and network infrastructure that provide the technical underpinnings for Akamai's products. Our team ensures consistent availability and performance for our customers.

Partner with the best

You'll be collaborating with networking engineering teams to ensure the functionality, performance and stability of our network.

You will be developing Test Automation solutions to ensure the quality of production software.

As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Taking ownership for testing your products, creating test strategies and delivering high-quality software solutions

• Using software development skills to develop tools, test frameworks and automation of the testing process

• Collaborating with software engineering teams in an Agile environment on code review and product development

• Influencing and shaping the design process and product development

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have the experience in writing code in Python and Bash and read C/C

• Have advanced knowledge of Linux administration

• Have working knowledge of the IP, TCP and UDP as well as the ability to troubleshoot them

• Have experience with Version Control Systems/GIT and continuous integration technology with Jenkins or similar

• Have an understanding of testing processes and methodologies.

• Have the ability to orchestrate a test cycle with both manual and automated test cases

• Be able to effectively communicate in business English both written and verbal
