Definity First Site Reliability Engineer in Colombia

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our dynamic team. As an SRE at Definity First, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain our infrastructure, and you'll have the opportunity to contribute to the development of cutting-edge technologies. This is a remote position open to any part of LATAM.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or in a similar role.

  • Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, JavaScript, or Python.

  • 3+ years of experience in SQL Server and/or MongoDB

  • 3+ years of experience in REST Services, JSON, XML, Web APIs

  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

  • Proficiency in container orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).

  • Solid understanding of networking, security, and infrastructure components.

  • Advanced English

Desirable

  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).

  • Experience with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

  • OpenAI, ChatGPT

Main Activities

  • Collaborate with software engineers to design and implement scalable and reliable systems.

  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents, ensuring high availability and performance.

  • Implement automation solutions for deployment, configuration, and orchestration.

  • Conduct system performance analysis and capacity planning.

  • Participate in on-call rotations to respond to critical issues outside of regular business hours
