HostPapa Head of Growth and Retention in Colombia

Position Summary:

As the Head of Growth and Retention , you will be responsible for developing the overall strategy for the Apps business, and driving on site conversion, user engagement and retention through creative marketing techniques post-acquisition. You will leverage your skills in digital marketing, analytics, and creativity to identify growth opportunities, design and implement experiments and optimize marketing campaigns. 

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive growth strategies to drive customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth

  • Create and own a strategy to grow our top of funnel audience and manage our customer retention

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and creative, to align marketing initiatives with business goals and ensure a maximized lifetime value

  • Optimize marketing campaigns based on performance metrics, such as conversion rates, using data-driven insights to improve results continuously

  • Create effective post-acquisition strategies to activate new users and drive customer retention, engagement, and upsell

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends

  • Monitor and analyze marketing performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges and make data-driven recommendations for marketing optimization and growth strategies

  • Provide regular reports and updates on marketing performance and key metrics to senior management

    About you:

  • Proven experience in growth marketing, preferably in a fast-paced startup or scale-up environment

  • 3+ years of experience in digital retention marketing and experience with high growth direct-to-consumer digital products

  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven marketing, including A/B testing, performance tracking, and optimization

  • Experienced with Conversion Rate Optimization strategies

  • Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Results-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving or exceeding marketing goals

  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment, adapt to changes, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
