Ford Motor Company NTC IT Ops Lead in China

The NTC ET Ops Lead role is accountable and responsible for overall NTC Enterprise Technology Operations which covers security, safety, compliance, strategic ET decisions, global solution, global communication, business communication, emergency break-fix, work around, new technology, Ford ET policy implementation.

NTC ET Ops Lead role for Nanjing NTC Campus:

  1. As part of global site management, overall run and protect NTC ET infra services, deskside, network, compliance, applications, etc.

  2. Lead Facility, network, and hosting planning support & process management in NTC.

  3. NTC overall security/safety control associated with ET operations and project implementation.

  4. Provide the cost-efficient ET local/global solution for new NTC business requirements.

  5. Provide high-quality ET service and solution for the success of NTC market events, drive events and leadership visit.

  6. Interface with the NTC business in order to optimize NTC ET operation services.

  7. Communicate with business for any business outage, workaround and planned changes.

  8. Ensured Ford NTC ET operation/project cycle plan budget planning and forecast on target.

  9. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent academic qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other fields with related work experience, is required.

  10. Experience with multiple infrastructure environments and understanding their relationships (e.g. OS, hardware, data center, security, network, voice, mobile devices, end user and server / web related applications).

  11. Experience in Linux/Windows server management.

  12. Experience in network LAN/WAN, Cisco firewall and switch configuration and management.

  13. Good at Microsoft Office 365 and Cisco Webex products (e.g. Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, Power Automate, Webex, Intune Services, etc.)

  14. Experience in maintaining IT security, compliance and control.

  15. 3-5 years in a corporate IT department providing end user support over a wide range of end user environments.

  16. have a helpdesk mindset and ideally a desk side services background

  17. Global view of technology and solutions.

  18. Exposure to IT standard process (ITIL) and project management (PMP).

  19. Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with local and global team members.

  20. ITIL certificate is preferred.

  21. CCNA certificate is preferred.

Others

This role requires regularly deploying ET operations maintenance and attending phone meetings with global teams (located outside of China), Willingness to work outside of normal business hours is required.
