Job Description

Job title: Customer Logistics Specialist

Department & Location: Supply Chain & Operations, Shanghai

Report to: APAC Logistics Manager

Role Summary:

Role Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

• Develop import compliance program within China (include Cross-boarder) to ensure all direct selling goods follow China Customs regulatory requirements.

• Lead customs agents to ensure timely filing and customs clearance transaction, and provide in time solution for import/customs-related matters.

• Work close with internal stakeholders to support the readiness of related CN label and other related indirect procurement.

• Monitor lead time/cost of international transportation, customs, labelling, domestic transportation, and seeking for continuously improvements.

• Work close with direct selling team to inform import goods availability status, prioritize related urgent requests.

• Support SAP 4HANA data integrity, act as the system expert to co-work with other stakeholders on PO/SO creation, batch management, perform root cause analysis on Job running error.

• Drive 3PL brokers and forwarders to achieve designed KPI, and ensure 3PL working process is in compliance with C&D policies, quality standards, and regulations.

• Work close with Finance team to record and check invoice / billing, and support month end closing matters.

• Ability to travel 15 - 20% of time.

  Qualifications:

• BS/BA degree required.

• 3+ years on importation, deep knowledge of importation and related logistics industry , FMCG industry preferred

• eCommerce channel working experience is a plus

• Good command on both oral and written English

• Team player with good communication and collaboration skills internally and externally

• Business process orientated – able to view total Supply Chain and build optimal process

• Good understanding of current/ongoing systems and technologies (SAP 4HANA etc.)
