Amentum is seeking a Food Services Supervisor to join our team on Andros Island, Bahamas to support the Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center (AUTEC) mission. Must be a citizen of the Bahamas. This position is reserved for Bahamian Citizens only.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Assist in the creating of cycle menus and preparations of recipes for the daily menus.

• Working with other Supervisors in training and overseeing galley staff in the preparation of recipes, service line presentation, and customer service.

• Research and/or create recipes for the MDF.

• Create and/or maintains recipe books.

• Maintain food service sanitation standards by Florida State Health Codes and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)

• Perform building and equipment inspections insuring the MDF facility and equipment are in compliance with health/safety regulations.

• Prepares issue request for products required for the daily operations of the Main Dining Facility galley.

• Organize, label, and maintain the inventory quantity of galley food products and performs physical inventories in the galley freeze and chill.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be a citizen of the Bahamas. This position is reserved for Bahamian Citizens only.

• 2 or more years of chef/cook's experience in food service

• 2 or more years of supervisory experience.

• High school graduate or equivalent.

• Must obtain Food Managers Certification within 90 days of hire date.

• Strong leadership skills and capable of working in a multi-cultural work environment

• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

• Must be able to work in walk-in freezers and coolers.

• Flexible work schedule including weekends/holidays.

• Experience working with computer desktop packages such as Microsoft Word and Excel.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3 or more years of chef/cook's experience in food service.
