Amentum Bartender - Stocker in Bahamas, The

Amentum is seeking a Bartender - Stocker to join our team on Andros Island, Bahamas to support the Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center (AUTEC) mission. This position is reserved for Bahamian citizens only. Must be a citizen of the Bahamas.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Take beverage orders from customers in a quick and courteous manner.

  • Mix drinks following a recipe and using an extensive range of ingredients including liquor, bitters, soda, water, sugar, and fruits.

  • Slice, pit, and prepare fruit garnishes for drinks.

  • Provide a positive and friendly guest experience by interacting with patrons.

  • Keep bar area clean, safe and organized.

  • Maintain a well-stocked bar with an adequate supply of liquor, beer, wine, mixers, ice, napkins, straws, glassware, and other accessories.

  • Organize the bar area to streamline drink preparation and inventory.

  • Place orders for liquor, beer, wine, and other supplies.

  • Perform work at the bait shack, pick up supplies from the warehouse, and restaurant for bars and bait shack, etc.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • 1+ years of experience working as a bartender.

  • Valid Driver's License required.

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Able to work in all areas of ERRP.

  • Self-motivated and self-directed.

  • Works well as part of a team and on individual tasks.

  • Able to work days, nights, and weekends.

  • Physically able to stand and move during the length of shift; able to bend and kneel through shift; able to lift up to 50 pounds.
