The InterContinental Hotels Group® properties in Dubai Festival City consist of four hotel brands. These include the luxury brand InterContinental, the superior upscale Crowne Plaza, the lavish long-stay InterContinental Residence Suites and the vibrant mid-scale Holiday Inn & Suites. In addition to over 1000+ bedrooms, the four properties boast a selection of high quality restaurants and bars, an impressive 3,800 square meter Event Centre across two levels, the 5,000 square meters Festival Arena by InterContinental, the luxurious Spa InterContinental, state-of-the-art gymnasium and swimming pool facilities. A little taste of your day-to-day

  • Drive Total Revenue (short- & long-term Room, and sell to new, existing, and prospective customers considering goals set forth in the sales strategy, negotiating optimum rate for the benefit of the business.

  • Maintain and develop the relationship with the in-house guests, and track all extensions required.

  • Make sure all long terms guests have contract in place as per the Internal policies of the Hotel.

  • Follow-up on invoices, payment and overall billing process as per the internal policies of the Hotel.

  • Keep track of Market pricing of hotel apartments and residential apartments

  • To utilize IHG sales tools in an appropriate manner to ease work processes and make the same more efficient and transparent - IBP, Delphi, I-RFP, IHG Merlin, IHG Sales Source, SSP and IHG Business Club.

  • Consistently communicate “within” to share market intelligence, provide feedback, and ensure customer awareness with the Hotels and to ensure planning and coordination of sales.

What we need from you

  • Strong communication and administrative skills

  • Organized and demonstrated good teamwork

  • Fluency in the English language - extra language skills would be great, but not essential

  • Computer literacy (Microsoft applications, Opera, Delphi)

  • Proactive approach

  • Ability to meet deadlines

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in the service industry and Sales & Marketing environment
