Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Principal Transport Planner to join our team!

What You'll Be Doing:

• Prepare transportation master plans and transportation studies for developments including data collection and analysis, and develop and analyze mitigation measures.

• Perform operational analysis using standard packages including SYNCHRO, SIDRA, HCS, AIMSUN and VISSIM.

• Conduct urban \metropolitan transportation planning and traffic engineering tasks including corridor studies and regional network studies.

• Apply travel demand modelling tools

• Collaborate with road design and urban planning teams

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering or related discipline

• Minimum 10 years hands-on experience in transportation planning including conduct of transportation impacts studies and transportation master plans

• Hands-on experience in travel demand modeling, including use of packages such as CUBE

• Experienced in the use of operational and/or travel demand modeling analysis tools

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Master Degree in related field.

• Experience in public transportation, transportation policy development and or planning and analysis of non-motorized transportation planning

• UAE experience, especially Abu Dhabi desirable.
