InterContinental Dubai Marina is a Five Star luxury hotel in the heart of Dubai Marina with 328 rooms and residence suites, flexible event space, and restaurants & bars. With over 30 languages and countries represented by the staff, the hotel weaves together an international five-star presence.

Your role will include but not be limited to:

• Leading and supervising the housekeeping team responsible for cleaning and maintaining all public areas such as lobbies, corridors, restrooms, elevators, and pool areas.

• Ensuring that public areas are kept to the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation at all times.

• Training and mentoring staff, assigning daily tasks, and monitoring the team’s performance.

• Performing routine inspections of all public areas to ensure compliance with IHG’s quality standards.

• Coordinating with other departments such as Front Office and Engineering to report and resolve maintenance or service issues promptly.

• Managing inventory and requisitions for cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure stock is available when needed.

• Implementing health and safety protocols, ensuring that the team follows all safety guidelines.

• Assisting with special cleaning projects and seasonal deep cleaning efforts.

Ideally, you'll have some or all the following qualifications and experience we're looking for:

• At least 2 years of experience in a Housekeeping environment in a five-star hotel, with specific experience in leading a team.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.

• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to perform routine inspections and spot areas for improvement.

• Good physical stamina and the ability to oversee cleaning activities for extended periods.

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

• Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor in dealing with guests and colleagues.
