Basic Function:

Casino Dealer deals assigned games, determining winners and losers, collecting and paying bets, protecting and securing the integrity of games through observation and ensuring the faithful compliance of policies, principles and procedures of the Hyatt Regency Casino maintaining superior customer service at all times.

General Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently deal the table games as described in established policies and procedures, maintaining compliance with all other casino regulations.

  • Greet customers in a friendly, professional and welcoming manner, assuring that guests have a favorable gaming experience.

  • Maintains a clean and neat playing, calling the game (hand) at all times.

  • Handles customer’s transactions for buy-ins and payoffs.

  • Verifies fills and credits to the game.

  • Safeguarding company assets and securing the integrity of the game.

  • Deals table games while ensuring the faithful compliance of policies, principles and procedures of the Casino.

  • Apply skill in dealing individuals, a combination of one or all games, such as Craps, Blackjack, Roulette, Caribbean stud poker, three-card poker or others.

  • Deliver to the best of your ability and job limitations, a level of superior customer service.

  • Educates players on the proper rules and procedures of the table games.

  • Monitor customers’ play and table action to ensure the security of game and casino assets.

  • Notifies Casino Pit Supervisor of any irregularities noted in customer play and of other transactions during shift.

  • Informs Casino Pit Supervisor of all suspicious or unusual activity.

  • Recognize regular Casino patrons.

Qualifications:

Required Skills:

  • Bilingual and multi-cultural experience preferred.

  • A good physical condition, and ability to stand for extended periods.

  • Be a responsible and motivated person.

  • Outgoing personality and being a creative person.

  • Ability to work under pressure and handle stress.

  • Must have excellent customer service abilities.

  • Maintain under normal circumstances an average game pace.

  • Ability and willingness to learn new technologies and new product lines.

  • Preferably a multi-games Casino Dealer.

Required Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.

  • Dutch Nationality.

  • Excellent verbal communication skills.

  • Able to communicate in English, Spanish and Dutch.

  • A minimum of five years experience.

  • Good working knowledge of various table games.

  • Able to work in a good gaming entertainment environment.

  • Must be able to provide a good conduct letter to obtain a gaming license.

  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including PM shifts, holidays, and weekends.

  • Ability to be a good representative of the Hyatt Regency Casino.
