Our client is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join their highly collaborative and motivated staff in our Virginia Beach, Virginia office’s Building Engineering practice. Hard Skills

• 6+ years of related experience (structural) designing structural systems for commercial and institutional facilities

• Professional Engineer license (if an EIT and sitting for PE within a few months, may entertain)

• Proficient with Revit

• Experience with Antiterrorism/Force Protection and Blast Resistant structural design is a plus

• Proficient in the use of computers for making engineering calculations, spreadsheets, and report writing

• Civil Engineer Degree (structural emphasis is a plus)

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Virginia Beach, Virginia and some days remote.

Work Environment

Culture-family feel, laid back culture, cross collaboration with civil/MEP/arch. Team size-this candidate would start the structural team in VB, with long term plans of bringing on new hires to mentor and build the team in VB office. Hybrid schedule-most are hybrid on Mondays and Fridays, in office Tues-Thurs.
