Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Electricians for projects located in the Virginia Beach, VA area . This is a full time opportunity and the pay rate is $28-39/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

• Installation and repair of electrical systems and associated activities which may include the application of some mechanical knowledge to diagnose repair needs for air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment, or other equipment as necessary

• Follow diagrams, blueprints and interrupt specifications

• Bend Conduits using hand benders, mechanical benders or hydraulic benders Knowledge of the use of power tools, saws, threaders, wire tuggers, knock punches and any tools associated with the electrical industry

• Work on AC and regrigeration units

• Operate two handed tools/equipment, cable cutters, hammer drills, compression tools, jack hammers and any other tools associated with the electrical industry

• Other tasks assigned

Requirements

• Considerable progressive experience in electrical maintenance and repair at the Journeyman Electrician level, including supervisory experience

• Some experience diagnosing mechanical problems involving air-conditioning or refrigeration equipment, manufacturing equipment and tools

• 4 years commercial electrical experience preferred

• Ability to bend conduit

• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
