Kuehne+Nagel Lithuania is looking for an enthusiastic, self-driven and motivated personality to manage road logistics activities and the team in the high paced day-to-day activities

Your Role

The Road Logistics Manager is the leading Road Logistics (including Customs and Fairs & Exhibitions) position in a country. It is the manager's job to a create and implement a national plan for business development in line with the global and regional Road strategies of Kuehne+Nagel, to work to ensure our operations deliver the right quality and are as profitable as possible, and to recruit, manage and motivate our team of Road logistics specialists. Your duties and responsibilities are carried out in line with Global Road Logistics policies and in close partnership with country resources and other business fields and functional units.

Your Responsibilities

• You will determine and help the national business strategy and secure its implementation

• You will acquire and support the acquisition of new business, actively support account management and maintain and expand existing business

• You will direct and support the business development process (sales, tender analysis, solution design, costing, pricing and service offering)

• You will localize the global Road products to meet market expectations and requirements while maintaining international compatibility

• You will Monitor market trends and competitor activity and identify new business opportunities (acquisition candidates, new services, business partners, etc.)

• You will maintain personal relationship with our leading customers and search for major new accounts, and manage Field Sales

• You will establish and secure the continuity of carrier relationships & Achieve optimal financial results

• You ensure efficient and effective Road Logistics (including Customs and Fairs & Exhibitions) operations and continuously optimize them in line with regional and global guidelines and targets

• You will represent the company in public and at external and internal conferences

Your Skills and Experiences

• Bachelor's degree in related fields

• 3+ years of experience in Road Logistics and management

• Strong leadership skills for driving Road Logistics initiatives and team direction

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Proven analytical and problem solving skills with attention to details

• Commercial minded and customer oriented

• Extensive financial & international Road Logistics market knowledge

• Very good spoken and written English, Lithuanian is a plus
