Job Description Summary:

The Software Engineer-III designs, develops, maintains, debugs and improves software products. Develops software performance and availability monitoring tools for applications, run times, subsystems, databases network and operating system.

Position Reports to: Manager, Software Engineering

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Software development: adheres to the principles of software development lifecycle, recognizes impact software changes will have on systems and contributes to enhancements, new features and correction of defects.

• Excellent programmer: delivers well structured, tested, and documented code within quality tolerance and upon agreed timelines. Proficient at complex programming & possesses knowledge of standard data structure and algorithms.

• Coding and debugging : maintains the existing code, systematically debugs the problems and continuously improves the product.

• Problem solving: makes the right trade-offs to efficiently solve problems, comes up with solutions and provides recommendations.

• Communication : proficient communication with different stakeholders including Product Owner, Engineering Manager and peer team members.

• Teamwork and collaboration: able to work independently and collaboratively within a team, with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset. Participates in all required meetings and agile ceremonies.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of software engineering experience.

• Mastery of Java and /or C/C++.

• Willingness to work with Mainframe Software Engineering.

• Experience with Rexx, JNI, UNIX Shell or Assembler would be a plus.

• Experience with IBM Z HLASM would be a plus.

• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Annual salary range for this position is between €39,270.00 - €72,930.00 gross before taxes.

Salary range applies only to candidates in Lithuania

Salary offer for the candidate is determined based on the predefined salary ranges for the position and depends on the level of competence and experience of the candidate.
