Role Purpose
Ensure error-free product launches through the application of robust designs and stable, capable processes throughout the supply chain.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the application of customer quality requirements, including special characteristics and traceability within the CAPM/APQP framework.
Support design and manufacturing functions during all stages of the CAPM process. Participate in stage gate and programme reviews.
Support the identification of Programme Risks through the application of PFMEA, past concerns, and lessons learned.
Participate in the development of the Process Flow/PFMEA/Control Plan. Review special characteristics in deployment.
Verify that engineering, process intent, and production samples are manufactured and inspected according to SAFE Sample and customer specific requirements.
Develop strong working relationships with customers and support on-site visits.
Responsible for preparing and leading the Product Launch Quality Reviews (PLQR) and coordination of related Product Launch Quality Improvement Plan (PLQIP).
Complete and submit PPAP documentation for approval and ensure it includes approved changes.
Ensure PSW (Parts Submission Warrant) is signed off prior to the start of production.
Responsible for training, implementation, follow-up, and closure of Initial Mass Production Quality plan (SAFE LAUNCH).
Support problem solving activities and ensure timely feedback to the customer on product launch concerns.
Experience and essential qualifications
University Degree in Industrial/Mechical/Chemistry or similar
Advanced English.
3 to 5 years of experience in Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering or program launching.
Essential Competences
Work in Quality Function
Manufacturing process experience
Interpretation of drawings and technical specifications (including GD&T)
Experience/training with ISO/TS 16949 systems
Knowledge of customer standards and specific requirements
Knowledge on machining and assembly processes
Use of AIAG tools such as APQP, MSA, CP, PFMEA
Conducting root cause failure analyses on products by using structured problem-solving methods
Lean Principles and continuous Improvement
