This individual will be in charge of producing maps, managing GIS and tabular data, maintaining GPS equipment, and training personnel on various GPS equipment.Job Duties include but are not limited to:•Edit and manipulate GIS data for map production and analysis.•Create maps for field teams, and project management.•Become familiar with field data collection tablets, including use of ESRI’s Survey123 data collection application.•Perform quality control and corrections to project database.•Assist with data entry for daily field reports.•Coordinate with contractor that maintains Vieques project database.•Maintain GPS units used on site- including training field personnel on use and care.•Assist with administrative tasks when other employees are out of the office.•When needed, assist with logistics shipping equipment or transporting goods and vehicles to and from the main island of Puerto Rico.
