Job Description

The Food Court Porter job duties include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Clean the tables, counters, and seating areas of the food court

  • Sweep & mop floors as needed.

  • Wash & deliver trays to tenants

  • Clean food court washrooms as scheduled

  • Clean food court patio eating areas

  • Clean & Empty trash, compost and recycle receptacles

  • Ensures proper care in the use of equipment and supplies.

  • Ensure work is complete and recorded in a timely manner in logbooks

  • Perform other duties as requested.

  • Understands and practices company safety policies in all duties.

  • Handles equipment in a safe manner.

  • Reports any hazardous or unsafe situations and ensures necessary action is taken to correct problem.

  • Complies with good safety and housekeeping habits.

  • Days and hours to be determined

Qualifications

The principal duty of a FOOD COURT PORTER is to perform the day-to-day cleaning of the food court and patioarea of the Bay Centre shopping mall in Victoria B.C. Canada
