We are looking for a Diagnostic Sales Representative for Italy who will achieve sustainable business growth by management of sales in the assigned territory in Italy. The employee will also identify and develop new opportunities in relevant accounts to support on-going success of Grifols Diagnostic business in Italy.

What your main responsibilities will be

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Sell Grifols transfusion medicine and systems to all Blood Transfusion Centers in the territory

  • Provide customers with the technical and commercial expertise which is crucial to identify, develop, promote and finalize customized value propositions consistent with the company’s strategies and goals

  • Maintain a professional relationship with all public and private authorities who have a decision authority to counter competitive activities and enhance favorable changes in market dynamics

  • Serve as a liaison to all other internal departments in interactions with end users in order to resolve customer complaints and plan resources to ensure smooth execution

  • Manage all administrative processes needed to complete the sales cycle including compliance with all local rules and regulations as well as all company procedures and policies

  • Prepares the technical and economic elements of tenders

  • Closely monitors and reports competitive activities at sales area level to bring in market intelligence and customer knowledge

  • Ensure that the profitability meets the required financial benchmarks (percent contribution margin, minimum selling price) on a per account basis and also holds value over time

  • The position will require extensive travel including periodic meetings in Vicopisano and Barcelona Headquarters or other locations as required

Who you are

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, education, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • You have a Degree in Science, Engineering or similar

  • You have at least 5 years of experience within sales department of multinational companies or hospital labs dealing with transfusion medicine procedures

  • You have knowledge of both transfusion medicine procedures and IT hospital solutions

  • You have strong PC skills and a solid IT background. Knowledge of SFDC will be valued

  • You have excellent presentation, communication and analytical skills

  • You are a results driven person and team player, able to collaborate with cross functional teams to achieve the objectives

  • You speak fluent English and Italian

  • You have willingness to travel as this is a field-based role (70% of the time)

Location: Field-based role, territory Lazio

Residence: Rome or Province of Rome
