Job Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for preparing electronic documentation as directed to be used on the shop floor describing and illustrating instructions on how to build a part along with applicable quality requirements. Work with shop personnel to document manufacturing procedures employed to manufacture a given part. Take pictures and document as appropriate to describe the quality requirements of the part to ensure that operators can assess parts to ensure that parts consistently meet those quality requirements. Input the documentation into the Visual Knowledge Share (VKS) system. Meet deadlines imposed by the Engineering Manager, Vice President of Operations and Business Development. Other ad hoc duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Must have strong English writing skills. Ability to understand shop procedures and be able to document them into a narrative along with illustrative photos. Some experience with a manufacturing software application preferred.
