Summary

To ensure the proper operation of all production related equipment, including preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical and hydraulic systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled maintenance on plant equipment and machinery (repair or replace worn or defective parts, motors and controls as necessary)

  • Repair, troubleshoot and maintain Fineblanking presses and production equipment.

  • Maintain all pumps, AC/heating units, presses, tumblers, and sanding equipment.

  • Maintain Cooling Tower , Parts washer and driers.

  • Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, mechanical and pneumatic issues.

  • Respond to equipment stoppage, mechanical  breakdowns.

  • Ensure proper documentation and information is recorded on a daily basis, including but not limited to production equipment.

  • Take active part in training and helping others as  required.

  • Participate in continuous improvement teams as  required.

    Qualifications, Education and Experience

  • 1-3 years’ experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment

  • Technical, vocational, college degree or equivalent work experience  required.

  • Electrical, hydraulic, mechanical skills  needed.

  • Knowledge of robotic motion controls a plus.

  • Knowledge of chillers and air compressors a plus
