Responsibilities You will research and prepare narrative and statistical material in a wide variety of formats in support of the administrative and management functions of the office. You will be responsible for spreadsheet development and manipulation for charts and graphs, Power Point presentations, building access databases and records management. You will collect data from various sources, identify problems from collected data, result conflicts in data errors and prepare summary data reports. You will provide advice and information on administrative matters in accordance with established regulations, policies and procedures to personnel of all levels. You will perform invoice processing, checking for accuracy while working with professional staff and contractors. You will maintain the office calendar, scheduling meetings and resolving conflicts as required. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Researching and compiling data from office files and office automation systems for use in presentations, briefings and reports. 2) Using office automation equipment and software to create charts, graphs and tabular reports; 3) Recording meetings and appointments on an office calendar; 4) Assisting personnel with travel itineraries, transportation and lodging; and 4) Using office operating procedures and policies to respond to requests for assistance with administrative problems. *NOTE: Experience and typing speed must be documented in your resume. Education Additional Information This announcement uses the Defense Industrial Base, Major Range and Test Facilities direct hire authority to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to certain positions in the competitive service. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Overtime and work on weekends may be required at times. Certain incentives (such as Recruitment, Relocation or Student Loan Repayment) may be authorized to eligible selectees. A relocation incentive is generally a single payment intended to offset some of the relocation costs experienced by the selectee. A relocation incentive may be authorized. Several vacancies may be filled.
