Robert Half CAD/CAE Technician Engineering - Skilled in Ventura, California

Description

We are offering an opportunity for a CAD Technician to join a team in Ventura, CA. This role will primarily focus on the design, development, and maintenance of CAD drawings in a medical device setting. You will be working closely with engineers and designers to create and modify detailed two- and three-dimensional parts and assembly drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) or computer-aided engineering (CAE) equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain detailed design drawings, schematics, or specifications using computer-aided design software.

• Collaborate with design originators to resolve design details or discrepancies or to prepare drawings of unusual, complex, or original designs.

• Develop and maintain drafting standards and procedures, ensuring all design work adheres to these standards.

• Utilize your knowledge and understanding of various processes, procedures, and systems in performing your tasks.

• Work within defined procedures that may involve a variety of work routines.

• Utilize your programming skills to enhance the functionality and user experience of our software.

• Apply your understanding of current good manufacturing practice regulations (CGMP) in the execution of your duties.

• Use your knowledge of Windows OS to troubleshoot and resolve any software-related issues.

• Apply your skills in scanning, engineering, and drawing to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

• Use CAD software, schematics, and SolidWorks in the design and development process.

Requirements • Proficiency in software development and programming principles

• Experience with Windows OS

• Familiarity with CAD Software and SolidWorks

• Understanding and experience with Data Acquisition

• Ability to create and interpret technical drawings, drafts, and schematics

• Experience in the medical device manufacturing industry

• Knowledge of Current Good Manufacturing Practice Regulations (CGMP)

• Proficiency in engineering principles and design processes

• Ability to handle discrepancies and make informed decisions

• Acquired skills in training and planning processes

• Familiarity with onsite work requirements

• Experience in drafting sketches and specifications

• Strong programming skills

• Ability to navigate manufacturing procedures
