Description We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. As an AR specialist, you'll work directly under the guidance of the VP of Finance, overseeing the company's AR procedures, ensuring accurate and timely recording of transactions, managing customer credits, and handling a myriad of AR reconciliations. Additionally, you'll be responsible for handling cash receipts, particularly from our many large clients such as Walmart, Sprouts, and CVS. A significant portion of our communication takes place via email; hence, excellent written communication skills will be highly beneficial to the role.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Accurately and promptly handle all aspects of accounts receivable including invoicing, customer adjustments, credits, reconciliation, and aging reports.

Process and verify applications for credit, soliciting payment of overdue accounts.

Manage and reconcile a high volume of cash receipts, ensuring correct application towards outstanding invoices.

Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with larger customers, ensuring their accounts remain in good standing.

Utilize SAGE X3 software for various accounting tasks and reporting.

Demonstrate and maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in dealing with sensitive financial information.

Perform other duties as assigned by the VP of Finance.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or relevant field preferred.

Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a consumer product company.

Proficiency in SAGE X3 software.

Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail is vital for success in this role.

Effective email communication to articulate financial matters clearly and precisely.

Strong understanding of AR processes including credit card transaction processing.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage high volume workload.
