The Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Specialist will report directly to the Finance Manager. You will play a vital role in analyzing and presenting financial results based on the information provided by the Accounting team. Your responsibilities will also include supporting sales and operational decision making, through financial analysis and cost modeling. This includes support for financial forecasts, budgets, capital investment auditing and tracking of plant capital spending and productivity. You will ensure compliance with Allegion’s financial controls, policies and procedures.

You will take the lead in the local financial planning process (Annual Operating Plan, Quarterly Forecasts) in close collaboration with the Finance Manager and GPS FP&A Manager. Additionally, you will provide general reporting and analytical support to management and driving initiatives to improve systems and processes.

Primary Accountabilities

• Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators, including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses and capital expenditures

• Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance

• Oversee and manage the ongoing development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operating Plan and Modeling tools

• Work closely with the local Finance team and GPS FP&A manager to ensure accurate financial reporting

• Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and Forecasts

• Provide monthly and quarterly financial reports

• Develop Business Intelligence Tools and dashboard reports

• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and drive performance through process evaluation

• Prepare business cases to support new investment and strategic decisions

• Ensure accurate tracking of the productivity projects and provide support and ideas to enhance productivity

• Ensure compliance with company policies and best practices and coordinate and provide support during quarterly Sarbanes-Oxley test processes

• Conduct stock take, perform stock variance analysis, explain deviations

• Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management

• Support management and departments heads with in-depth analysis

• Prepare presentations for the Senior Management Team
