Job Summary

Responsible for coordinating the day-to-day activities of operations, assisting in the implementation of processes, policies, and procedures, branch resolutions, and project management. Provides operational expertise and participates in the creation and implementation of processes to ensure branch compliance. Identifies and analyzes operational inefficiencies in order to establish best practices and achieve cost savings.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

  • Provides administrative support to Operations and Field. Manages documentation and evaluates information related to branch operations.

  • Assists the department in all administrative functions and special projects, schedules meetings, coordinates documentation logs, aids in the onboarding process, and supports inter-company initiatives and events.

  • Interfaces regularly with vendors and/or internal personnel to communicate information.

  • Coordinates daily operations of the company or department and its various components, ensuring compliance with company, local, state/provincial, and federal policies and regulations.

  • Investigates operational issues and resolves general problems.

  • Responsible for developing and distributing policies, industry standards, and regulations and may also provide leadership and assistance in this process.

  • Provides basic data analysis and may perform other duties as assigned.

Nature and Scope

  • Selects correct processes from clearly prescribed rules, past practices, or instruction. Seeks advice and guidance on non-routine or problem areas from supervisor. Deviations from the norm are cleared by the supervisor.

  • Under close supervision, exercises limited latitude/independent judgment. Work typically involves detailed checks or close review of output by a senior coworker and/or supervisor.

  • None.

Work Environment

  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

  • Typically requires overnight travel less than 5% of the time.

Education and Experience

  • HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred. 0-2 years of experience in area of responsibility.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in a related field

  • Excellent internet and data entry skills. Proficient in Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
