Quality Control Chemist

Job Description

As a Quality Control Chemist, you will be responsible for performing sampling of intermediate and finished products in compliance with cGMP guidelines. Your duties will include performing physical and chemical testing of products using analytical balances, chromatography, extractions, pH, and dissolutions. You will maintain laboratory equipment and work areas, perform equipment calibrations, and accurately maintain notebooks and files in accordance with current GMPs and internal Standard Operating Procedures. You are expected to attend work regularly and predictably, complete tasks safely and alertly, uphold company policies, work cooperatively, and effectively meet production and sales deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry or related field

  • 0 to 3 years experience in a Chemistry Lab Setting

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Access a plus

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 3 Month(s).

Work Environment

Training on 1st shift (8a-5p M-F). Dress code is business casual.
