Job Description

As an Investment Counselor, you will be the voice of our company to our clients across the United States. Partner with internal portfolio decision-makers, auxiliary research teams, client service associates, and our renowned sales team to deliver exceptional service. Responsibilities:

• You will report to your group manager whose previous experience in the role will assist you in navigating client relationships and provide personalized career development

• Be the heart of our Private Client Group, build trusting relationships with our clients and educate them on our top-down portfolio strategy, their investments and important market events

• Proactively connect with clients on a quarterly basis to review their asset allocation and ensure we're on the right track towards their long term financial goals

Your Qualifications:

• 2+ years of instilling trust and building client relationship within the finance industry

• Series 65 (we will help you obtain upon starting)

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

• Investment experience required

• A thoughtful consultative approach with an emphasis on client focus

Work Environment

The role operates in a professional business environment from Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, based in one of our three locations: Camas, WA; Tampa, FL; Plano, TX. These locations offer excellent facilities and benefits such as no state income taxes, contributing to long-term wealth and retirement advantages. Initially, this role is in-office with potential for hybrid work after a year.

This is the ideal role for a candidate who doesn't want to continue in the sales development / Cold call environment of most Investment firms. This role will not have any cold calling or prospecting. This is a true Account Manager role with clients provided to you by the sales team.. As a company, they has not laid off during the down times in the economy. They have found ways to keep their employees when the economy has struggled.
