Robert Half Healthcare Revenue Finance Analyst in Vancouver, Washington

Jana Chapman with Robert Half is offering an exciting opportunity in the healthcare industry for a Sr. Financial Analyst, based in Vancouver, Washington. This role involves performing both quantitative and qualitative analyses, building contract models, and auditing claim payments within the healthcare revenue cycle. The position requires a broad understanding of revenue cycle processes, medical revenue components, and budget modeling.

Responsibilities:

• Perform quantitative and qualitative analyses relating to healthcare finances.

• Build and maintain contract models to improve the financial efficiency of the organization.

• Conduct audits of claim payments to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.

• Maintain the Charge Master and implement pricing changes as necessary.

• Consult on business processes to optimize financial operations.

• Manage annual budget figures and conduct variance analysis to identify areas for improvement.

• Identify opportunities for pricing and contracting to maximize revenue.

• Analyze payor risk contract reports to mitigate financial risks.

• Develop work documentation to ensure transparency and consistency in financial processes.

• Mentor teammates and establish standard work procedures when necessary.

Skills:

• Proficiency in data mining techniques and enterprise resource planning.

• Strong understanding of accounting functions and budget processes.

• Experience with medical billing and healthcare revenue cycle.

• Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools like Power Pivot and Power BI.

• Knowledge of HCPCS coding in the healthcare industry.

• Ability to use financial modeling and data analysis skills to drive revenue budgets.

• Experience with Epic applications such as Resolute PB, Cogito Revenue Data Model, or Cogito Fundamentals.

Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Financial Analyst, preferably in the Healthcare/NHS industry.

• Proficiency in Data Mining Techniques and SQL for data extraction and analysis.

• Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems.

• Strong knowledge of Accounting Functions and Budget Processes.

• Experience in Finance, specifically within the healthcare sector.

• Familiarity with Medical Billing and HealthCare Revenue Cycle.

• Knowledge of HCPCS Coding for accurate medical billing.

• Proficiency in Power Pivot and Power BI for data modeling and visualization.

• Ability to interpret and analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively convey financial information to non-financial staff.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required; advanced degree or certification such as CPA, CMA, or MBA is preferred.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
