Providence is calling a Director Finance who will: Lead the development of compensation strategies and programs related to provider compensation throughout the Oregon Region Manage a team of Contracting, Credentialing and Compensation Professionals responsible for the day to day operations and on-going projects related to provider compensation, impacting all employed and independent providers Be responsible for the design, development and implementation of decision support systems that provide critical analysis and reporting to support strategic decisions and operational improvement Be accountable for oversight of physician contracting tools and processes as well as support of and management of a single contracting solution enterprise wide Serve as an internal expert and resource available to executives and provider leadership teams for issues and needs relating to physician compensation and contracting matters Establish provider compensation policies and procedures across the region and in partnership with System Be responsible for overseeing contracts and compensation for>1400 providers region wide Be responsible for the accuracy in payout of>$325M in compensation annually Ensure providers are accurately and timely credentialed with CMS and commercial insurance payers Please note the following important details regarding this position: Providence welcomes remote work to residents who reside in: Oregon Washington: Clark County This role will require for you to travel to the Portland office as defined by manager and departmental needs Work Week: Monday - Friday Work Shift: Day Required qualifications for this position include: Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Human Resources, Business, Finance or another related area of study 10+ years of experience working with one or more of the following: provider compensation design, finance, physician practice management, project management, change management 5+ years of healthcare experience 8+ years of leadership experience Experience working directly with senior leaders and executives to achieve strategic initiatives Experience working within a highly matrixed organization Experience with Excel and other data reporting tools Preferred qualifications for this position include: Experience implementing and managing electronic solutions Experience working with a Board of Directors Salary Range by Location: Oregon: Non-Portland Service Area: Min:$69.72, Max: $113.64 Oregon: Portland Service Area: Min:$74.79, Max: $121.91 Washington: Southwest - Olympia, Centralia & Below: Min:$74.79, Max: $121.91 Why Join Providence?
