Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Be proficient with AutoCAD drafting system

• Understand architectural and civil scaling practices

• Has basic email skills using Gmail

• Has basic spreadsheet skills for Google Sheets or Excel

• Has basic word processing skills for Google Docs or MS Word

• Has ability to create PDF documents from various software programs

• Has ability to navigate through jurisdictional websites to obtain necessary information

• Review home orders for accuracy

• Create home order concepts from base plans

• Create plot plans

• Create basic permit set drawings

• Communicate with professional outsources in a professional manner

• Knowledge of basic single family building code guidelines

Qualifications:

• 1 - 2 years of experience in drafting

• Proficient with current AutoCAD drafting system

• Work in a team environment

• Adhere to and maintain a project schedule

• Be familiar with basic roof truss systems

• Be familiar with basic floor joist systems

• Be familiar with basic lateral and vertical engineering principals

  Pay Range:

• $26.92 - $28.85 per hour
