Amazon SAP Security Architect , AWS Tech and Finance in Vancouver, British Columbia

Description

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Security Consultant with a minimum of 8 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our SAP systems, implementing and maintaining security policies, and providing expert guidance on SAP security best practices.

Key job responsibilities

  • Manage user access and authorizations in SAP systems.

  • Configure and maintain security roles and profiles in various SAP modules (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, GRC, etc.).

  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.

  • Ensure compliance with internal and external security standards and regulations.

  • Lead SAP security projects, including implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.

  • Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation.

  • Monitor SAP systems for security breaches and take corrective actions as necessary.

  • Conduct regular security audits and provide detailed reports on findings and recommendations.

  • Work closely with other IT and business teams to ensure seamless integration of security measures.

  • Provide training and support to end-users on security-related issues.

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP Security administration and management.

  • Proven track record in managing and implementing SAP security in large organizations.

  • In-depth knowledge of SAP security concepts, including roles, profiles, and authorizations.

  • Experience with SAP GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) solutions.

  • Proficiency in SAP user administration, including CUA (Central User Administration).

  • Relevant SAP Security certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Technology Professional - Security with SAP NetWeaver).

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with S/4HANA security.

  • Knowledge of industry-standard security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).

  • Experience with SAP Fiori security.

The base salary for this position ranges from $76,100/year up to $127,200/year. Salary is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
