Are you a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist with a passion for leadership and patient care? PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center in beautiful Bellingham, Washington is seeking a dedicated individual for a Full Time, 1.0 FTE Day Shift position, to help lead our Nuclear Medicine team.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead and Inspire: You'll be mentoring staff, ensuring efficient workflow and fostering a positive work environment.

  • Provide Expert Care: As a Lead Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you'll be a subject matter expert, performing routine and specialized nuclear medicine procedures by integrating medical knowledge and technical skills with effective patient interaction to provide quality patient care and accurate diagnostic information.

  • Drive Quality: You'll be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day functions for the assigned area. You'll assist with ensuring that departmental goals are achieved, timelines are met, and service excellence is provided in all aspects of work.

  • Collaborate Effectively: You'll be planning and prioritizing services for both inpatient and outpatient areas, including services at St. Joseph Medical Center and the Marble Building. You'll work closely with physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.

What You'll Need:

  • Education: Accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program or equivalent.

  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year prior experience required.

  • Certification and Licensure: NMTCB or ARRT-N certification required, as well as Radiologic Technology licensure through the state of Washington and BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

  • Skills: Demonstrated venipuncture competency, PACS/RIS knowledge, plus strong leadership, communication and organizational skills.

  • Competitive Compensation: The salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is$48.60 – $72.96.The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc.
