Aerotek is hiring Mechanical assemblers in Vancouver

Job duties include:

• 20 ft containers come in, inspecting incoming shipments

• Remove exterior panels - the panels are held on with tools and need to be removed with an Allan key

• Part of the battery (the stack) goes inside each container with an overhead crane (Aerotek contractors wont be using this but they must be comfortable around it)

• Install stacks into container

• Once the stacks are installed, a series of electrical and fluid connections will be worked on

• Socket wrenches/torque wrenches/ routing of plumbing/hoses to connect fluid connection from one side to another

• They will then close the battery: module covers/panels get put back on with screws/ torqued properly

• Torqueing: easy to learn, not a must but strongly preferred

• Some electrical equipment needs to be assembled prior to: called DCDC, this is a sub assembly process, they will be trained on this

• They will be on two/three step platform ladders most of the day, no sitting

• When installing stacks, they are putting a platform up onto the unit around 35 lbs - could be done up to 12 times in a shift

• Could be doing some small painting as the panels get banged up during shipment

• Physical tasks: routing - reaching and pulling tubes/reaching through and fishing cable through

• AM 7am-3.30pm Monday-Friday

• $20.00-25.00 per/hour

Must Have:

• 2 years Experience in similar role

• Experience using hand tools
