Autodesk is looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join the Autodesk Graphics Platform (AGP) team in Montreal, Canada. Remote-friendly environment. Autodesk supports FLEX working model. The Autodesk Graphics Platform (AGP) is a shared graphics system used by many Autodesk applications, including Fusion, Revit, Inventor, 3ds Max, and Maya. You will join a talented technical team in undertaking a complete modernization of the Graphics components - providing Autodesk applications with the ability to support, and exploit, the latest and future generations of graphics technology. You will report to Senior Software Development Manager based in Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Design and write, maintainable, and extensible code that can last for years

  • Debug existing subsystems, identify problem areas, provide both quick temporary workarounds and high-quality, lasting solutions

  • Create performance and unit tests to enhance test coverage

  • Modernise and improve existing cloud rendering software stack and existing CI/CD pipeline and testing framework

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent

  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience

  • Experience in computer graphics, Ray tracing and physically-based rendering

  • Foundation in Cloud Native, micro-services architecture, K8S, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Linux env., distributed computing and performance optimization, AWS and cloud technologies, including EC2, S3, and ECS

  • Proficiency in C++ and Python

Responsabilités

  • Concevoir et écrire un code maintenable et extensible qui peut durer des années

  • Déboguer les sous-systèmes existants, identifier les zones problématiques, fournir des solutions temporaires rapides et des solutions durables de haute qualité

  • Créer des tests de performance et des tests unitaires pour améliorer la couverture des tests

  • Moderniser et améliorer la pile logicielle de rendu en nuage existante ainsi que le pipeline CI/CD et le cadre de test existants

Qualifications minimales

  • Licence en informatique ou équivalent

  • Minimum de 7 ans d'expérience pertinente

  • Expérience en infographie, Ray tracing et rendu basé sur la physique

  • Connaissances de base en Cloud Native, architecture micro-services, K8S, Docker, pipelines CI/CD, environnement Linux, informatique distribuée et optimisation des performances, AWS et technologies cloud, y compris EC2, S3 et ECS

  • Maîtrise de C++ et de Python

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For Canada-BC based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $98,600 and $144,650. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
