ROLE PURPOSE

Hologic is seeking a Clinical Application Specialist (CAS) primarily responsible for providing field-based support to radiologists and other clinicalprofessionals who desireto utilize any of the BSHS Division’s products. This responsibility will require travel within a territory and coverage of an assigned customer base. The CAS will use their time with the customers to provide product technical support and clinical expertise in procedures and customer meetings in accordance with company policy. They will also build relationships with customers and become skilled at promoting the value proposal of the BSHS products.

The clinical application specialist will be required to work in close alignment with sales, marketing, customer service and field service team to be an effective representative for and positive promotion of the Hologic brand.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Demonstrated competences such as teamwork, communication, customer support and retention, active listening and empathy, problem solving, adaptability and change management, organization and creativity

  • Conduct advanced training and field support on products with customers.

  • Completion of all pre-site, site assessment requirements for ongoing opportunities.

  • Participates proactively and effectively in team assignments and projects.

  • Provide troubleshooting assistance and be available to support customers with inquiries.

  • Identifies problems and uses logic, judgment, and data to evaluate alternatives and recommend solutions to achieve the desired organizational goal or outcome.

  • Delivers clear, effective communication and takes responsibility for understanding others. Communication can be oral and/or written and is addressed to different audiences.

  • Utilizes skill in presenting information, analysis, ideas, and positions in a clear, concise, accurate, convincing manner, as is appropriate with the audience.

  • Clearly and effectively conveys information verbally.

  • Customer support and customer retention

  • Engages the customer as a partner in delivering support.

  • Proactively drives a customer care visit program within the territory.

  • Based on customer feedback identifies opportunities to improve customer’s performance and solutions.

  • Builds and maintains effective working relationships and partners with customers.

  • Looks for ways to continuously improve product or work output to increase customer satisfaction.

  • Provide input on educational materialand assist with distribution to customer base.

  • Travel daily within assignedaccounts (possible overnight travel)

  • Work closely with sales team, technical service team, customer service team and other relevant functions to support customer sites, installations, clinical trials, data collection, customer, and competitive feedback.

  • Show sensitivity and understand others’ perspectives. putting the needs of customers first and looking for ways to improve their satisfaction and loyalty. In this way, they can become a ‘trusted advisor’ to customers, developing a long-term relationship between customer and organization.

  • Identifies growth opportunities to existing customer base:

  • Strategic territory planning co develop with sales team.

  • Define the market, analyze, and segment existing customers.

  • Review and track the results.

  • Represent the company at Conferences & Exhibitions including responsibility for speaking engagements.

  • Cross-functional collaboration, working cooperatively with others, inside and outside the organization, to accomplish objectives to build and maintain mutually beneficial partnerships, leverage information, and achieve results:

  • Identifies, organizes, facilitates and /or sustains mutually beneficial partnerships and alliances with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Coordinates efforts with applicable stakeholders to ensure awareness, share information, and provide updates until completion.

  • Clinical Trainingin Radiology with thorough understanding of Mammography and Stereotactic procedures.

  • Bachelor of Arts/Science, Radiology from an accredited collegeor university

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Englishand French.

  • Experience workingdirectly for a vendor in a clinicalsupport role preferred.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft OfficeSuite, experience with CRM

  • Ability to work independently with moderate supervision and with other team members in a cooperative manner.

  • 5 years of Mammography clinical experience in a medical setting or 2-3 years as a clinical applications specialist.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

  • Since this position requires you to drive extensively during the workday a valid driving license and driving record satisfactory to the Company, as well as a serviceable vehicle available for work use is mandatory. Overnight travel required 50-75%.
