Program Project Analyst

Purpose and Scope:

Responsible for implementing and maintaining the financial programs to meet contract and corporate requirements and will report to the Program Manager.

Essential Responsibilities:

Responsible for developing and implementing the Contractor’s budget and answering any financial and budget related questions, to include tracking funds.

Review business systems administration, resources, procedures, and methods to improve operational effectiveness, utility and efficiency.

Provide financial support to all Contractor entities.

Oversee purchasing orders and receiving program for product purchases.

Other additional duties as required per the performance work statement to ensure success of program.

This position requires a minimum 40-hour work week, Monday through Friday, and some weekends.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in related field.

In lieu of a degree, minimum of four (4) years of directly related experience.

Must possess ability to use budgeting programs, databases, excel, powerpoint, etc.

Must possess ability to understand and comply with Government publications, performance work statements, and technical orders.

Must possess keen attention to detail.

Must possess ability to perform analytical analysis and apply risk management techniques.

Experience in conflict resolution, team building, and coaching skills.

Prior finance budgeting and bookkeeping experience desired.

Prior experience with unionized work force highly desired.
