Maintenance Technician

$30 - 34/hr

An establish manufacturing company located in Valparaiso, IN is seeking multiple electrical maintenance technicians to join their team. 401k and insurance benefits are offered immediately once hired.

Previous experience in PLC troubleshooting and electrical wiring is required.

Description:

• Electrical troubleshooting - working up to 480V, single phase and three phase wiring

• Mechanical troubleshooting

• PLC troubleshooting(AB) using a laptop to troubleshoot issues

• pneumatic troubleshooting

• Familiar with mechanical repairs shafts, bearings, gears, belts.

• Working with AC/DC motors

• Performing electrical wiring / troubleshooting

• New installs of equipment and machinery, running conduit if needed

• Assisting the building/wiring of panels when they rebuild or build new machines

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance or manufacturing

• Read and interpret electrical schematics

• 480V wiring

• PLC troubleshooting experience

Environment:

Very clean cable manufacturing facility that can get hot in the summer. Employees must wear steel toed boots, safety glasses and ear plugs. They can wear jeans and a t-shirt to work. In the winter, the facility is heated. Company is also building a brand new facility next door that most of the current employees will move to over the course of the year.

Shift: 1st shift (7a - 7p) and 3rd shift (7p - 7a) M - F
