Job Title: General Production

Job Description

Join our team in a critical production role where you will be responsible for the visual inspection of cables as they come off the line. Your tasks will include tagging any broken or dysfunctional wire, utilizing a pallet jack to move materials throughout the facility, and assisting in various areas of the manufacturing plant. Additional responsibilities include palletizing, packing, moving materials, general cleaning, and providing support wherever needed. This role requires flexibility to rotate shifts every 3 months, starting with the night shift.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Valparaiso, Indiana.

Work Environment

The work environment involves making large cables for power companies in a facility that is currently expanding. It is a fast-paced environment with a newer manufacturing supervisory team. The facility includes an inventory area, shipping department, and manufacturing department, featuring large and old machinery. The nature of the work is very unique. Be prepared for hot temperatures in the summer and cold in the winter. Safety gear such as steel-toed shoes and long pants are mandatory.
