Adecco US, Inc. Payment Operations Specialist in Valley Cottage, New York

Adecco is seeking detail-oriented, self-reliant team players for a Payment Operations Specialist position in Valley Cottage, NY! Working in this high-speed environment, you will need to meet production and quality standards, so accuracy and attention to detail are imperative. This position is temp-to-hire for the right person after 90 days!

Location: Valley Cottage, NY (on-site)

Monday – Friday 9 AM – 5:30 PM

Pay Rate: $18 / hr.

As a Payment Operations Specialist, responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Preparing batches of work by extracting checks and remittances from envelopes.

  • Operating Imaging/Extraction equipment (OPEX 50/51/60, OPEX 7200, OPEX 150).

  • Inputting data into the system while following standard operating procedures and customer specific instructions for processing.

  • Verifying negotiability of checks through customer specific instructions for processing.

  • Analyze all transactions to ensure payments are properly processed.

  • Maintaining site productivity and quality standards.

  • Occasionally lifting and moving mail trays.

  • Flexibility and willingness to cross-train and learn all job functions in operations.

Qualifications:

  • 1+ year experience in an office environment.

  • Reliable Transportation & Good Attendance.

  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
