Job Title: Packager

Job Description

As a Packager, you will handle various types of agricultural products such as flax, flax seed, flax flakes, flax oil, and milled and roasted products. Your responsibilities include ensuring bags are properly sewed shut, stacking them onto pallets, and working collaboratively in a small team to maintain smooth operation of machinery. You will occasionally lift and stack 50 lb bags, complete production paperwork, and clean and sanitize machines between production runs. Training for forklift operation to move large bulk totes will be provided.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in VALLEY CITY, North Dakota.

Work Environment

This role operates in a production environment where machines are constantly running, contributing to a noisy setting. Areas can be dusty or dirty during equipment cleaning. The environment spans four departments with varying conditions from very clean and quiet to loud requiring earmuff hearing protection. Work attire includes jeans, t-shirt, and steel-toed boots. Shifts are from Monday to Thursday with staggered schedules of 5am-3:30pm or 6am-4:30pm.
